Redefining Physiotherapy Through Longevity and Healthy Ageing.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Physiotherapy for Longevity & Healthy Ageing is an advanced training program designed for physiotherapists seeking to transition from traditional rehabilitative care into the proactive, prevention-based world of longevity medicine.

This course blends the latest research in ageing science with practical clinical applications to optimise movement, strength, function, and recovery across the lifespan.
Participants will explore how to assess, monitor, and enhance biological ageing processes using exercise therapy, recovery strategies, nutritional insights, and health technology - positioning themselves at the forefront of the emerging longevity field.

The curriculum includes training in cellular ageing, biomechanics in ageing bodies, muscle preservation, fall prevention, neuroplasticity, and health coaching, allowing physiotherapists to craft individualised programs that help clients thrive well into their later years.
Graduates will gain the skills to work in longevity clinics, wellness resorts, elite ageing programs, private practice, or integrate this specialisation into their current physiotherapy model.

With over two decades of experience in physiotherapy and rehabilitative care, I have had the privilege of leading Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation departments across internationally recognized high-end institutions. My work is driven by a commitment to delivering excellence in patient-centered, longevity-focused physiotherapy, ensuring each individual receives personalized and highly effective care. Currently, I am heading the physiotherapy & Rehabilitaion Department at The Aeon Clinic, Atlantis The Royal, Dubai and The Certified Longevity Physiotherapy Program at GCLS.

I have fostered an environment rooted in collaboration and innovation, where excellence is driven by shared knowledge and forward-thinking practices. My role extends beyond patient care to encompass team leadership, nurturing a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and quality improvement. The expertise I have developed over the years has strengthened my dedication to advancing the field of physiotherapy—through both exceptional hands-on clinical care and strategic healthcare leadership.

Learning Resources

In this course, students have access to a rich array of learning resources to enhance their understanding and engagement with the subject matter. Each module features e-books and downloadable PDF learning materials curated to complement the topics covered, providing comprehensive insights and additional references for deeper exploration. Additionally, in the e-books, students will find links to relevant video resources, enriching their learning experience and links to recommended research publications that empower students to conduct further self-study, fostering a holistic understanding of the course material. Lectures by GCLS faculty members are integrated into individual modules, offering students the opportunity to deepen their understanding beyond the confines of the provided learning materials.

Course Assessment

The course assessment comprises several elements, including multiple-choice exams for each module, alongside coursework, class participation, and written assignments. Achieving a 70% success rate on the multiple-choice exams is necessary for passing, with the option to retake each exam once if needed. Successful completion of all assignments is required to pass the course.
